Sexy Web Apps with Java, Mozilla Tamarin, and Flex
James Ward, Adobe
Everyone must register with VeriSign security as a guest during this time. No one will be allowed in the building after 7:00, so please do not be late.
We are providing dinner before this meeting sponsored by Adobe. In addition to the usual bottled water and soft drinks, there will also be pizza. If you prefer to get your own dinner before the meeting, the closest quick food options are at the intersection of N. Whisman and E. Middlefield. There you will find Chinese food, Japanese food, Subway sandwiches, and a Carl's Junior. If you have more time, there are many fine restaurants to choose from on nearby Castro street in downtown Mountain View.
RSVP requested by January 31st to van_riper@dev.java.net with the subject “February Meeting RSVP.” Please include your full name with RSVP email for submission to VeriSign Security in advance of the meeting. RSVPs will be accepted after that date, but, early RSVPs will be greatly appreciated. They help us to plan for the room configuration and refreshments. Thanks!

James Ward (jamesward.org) is a Technical Evangelist for Flex at Adobe and Adobe's JCP representative to JSR 286, 299, and 301. Much like his
love for climbing mountains, he enjoys programming because it provides endless new discoveries, elegant workarounds, summits and valleys. His adventures in climbing have taken him many places. Likewise, technology has brought him many adventures, including: Pascal and Assembly back in the early 90's; Perl, HTML, and JavaScript in the mid 90's; then Java
and many of it's frameworks beginning in the late 90's. Today he primarily uses Flex to build beautiful front ends for Java based back ends. Prior to Adobe, James built a rich marketing and customer service portal for Pillar Data Systems.
Like we have done several times in the past, this Silicon Valley Web Developer JUG meeting is being co-hosted by the Silicon Valley JUG.
